Opposites

An infant book about opposites. As I was reading this book, I got the feeling that infant books can really be used for infants until age 2. These books can be beneficial for a few years in early stages of development.

This book is silly, yet teaches the meaning of opposites. Not one of my favorites, but I do like the illustrations and I do think it serves the purpose of getting across to very young children as to what opposites are. ( )

This is an easy-reader concept book for 0-preschool ages centered around opposites.

"Opposites" provides several humorous examples of opposite words. The text teaches position words, adjectives, size, and various other words using opposites. The illustrations go right with the words and a young reader can follow along. As they begin sounding out words this book would be great to teach sight words or practice sounding out specific words. It is also a book that works well to read it to the children a few times and then have them read it back to you. ( )
