I was expecting some dramatic crisis, perhaps a climactic battle with the government. Instead, we jump ahead perhaps 25 years or so. Clark, now 57, has discovered that his powers are slowly fading as he ages. Also, the feds are no longer so interested in capturing and controlling him, as though there were other Supers in existence, and in their employ. Clark also discovers that two supers (although not employed with the government) are his twin daughters, now grown to young womanhood. Not much really happens here, but upon reflection and repeated readings, I discover that I like it that way. Clark can be quietly proud of who he is, the work he's done, and the legacy he has passed on. I am a little irritated that we never conclusively find out how he got his powers, and what role the government had in it, although there are scattered hints. Still, a fine miniseries that deserves publication as a hardback compilation. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
