This one didn't work so well for me. I had trouble with all the men being alphas of their own territories but apparently being willing to throw that all over and give it all up to share one woman. I think if it had been one alpha and his betas it would have worked better for me. There was little background on the characters. Okay let's call it like it is, no background. We didn't know who any of these people were or where they were coming from, what motivated them, what had shaped them. The prince who really couldn't even be considered the main guy was the only one we knew anything about and what we knew was that he was a prince and his parents didn't approve of the mating with a human.

Still it wasn't bad just not as good as this author usually is to make me ignore her typical lack of backstory. It was more apparent in this than in other books by this author though. ( )

There was a lot I liked and a lot I didn't like about this book. The thing that hit me the hardest was the fact that the "alpha female" didn't act very alpha-ish. ( )
