Bill Martin jr. wrote a book that helps children learn sense phonics sounds and literacy, also colors, and animal names. This is a great picture book for young children because they can explore their surroundings and learn. new vocabulary words. many lesson plan may also be used with this book because it incorporates many subjects like reading, weighting, math, possibly science. I like the visuals and the different colors used for the animals. It gives students a sense of self expression. ( )
