The Expositor's Bible Commentary is a major contribution to the study and understanding of the Scriptures. Its seventy-eight contributors come from the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Australia, and New Zealand, and from many denominations, including Anglican, Baptist, Brethren, Methodist, Nazarene, Presbyterian, and Reformed. If you are on a budget and need a good set of commentaries, you probably can't do better than this. Granted, some entries are too brief, but on the whole this is a great set. ( )
