The Kings Fountain is a story which centers on a kingdom kind in the desert. The king of this land decides to build a grand fountain in his court, kind of as a way to show how great his kingdom is. However, there is a problem with this plan; if the king decides to build his fountain, all the people in the lower parts of the city will have no water to survive. A poor man, living in the lower part of the city tries to find someone wiser, cleverer and stronger than he to speak to the king on his behalf. However, no one will approach the king. Desperate the man comes before the king himself to speak about the matter. After what seems like a failure, the king is impressed by this poor man and decided not to build his fountain after all. This story teaches people that they are stronger than they realize. You think you are not brave or smart or good enough to do something, but when you are backed into a corner and have no choice, you end up pushing through. This is one of the most important lessons any child can learn. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
