Could lead to interesting discussions about other cultures. Longer than I’d like, but good for 2nd-5th grade. ( ) Eagle Boy is a traditional fantasy book retold from a traditional Navajo Legend. I enjoyed the imagery in this book. The author used vivid imagery to depict the mythical aspects of the story such as "though (the crystal) was dark down deep in the blankets, he could see the clear sky through it." The only thing I disliked about the book was that it was hard to follow, major events kept occurring immediately following each other. It was overwhelming. However, the imagery of the pictures help kept the story understandable. Over this book teaches about destiny, by showcases how everyone learns from mistakes and find their own path. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
