Both of their herds keep jumping the fence to be with the others on the other side. So Cowboy Kirby and Miss Emma are getting frustrated with this mess. In the end it all workout just fine for them and their cow herd. Personal Reaction: I personally liked this book a lot. It was fun and unpredictable. It was a great way of learning even and odd numbers. I like the ending very much it was fun and educational. Extension Ideas: 1. I could use this when learning odd and even numbers. 2. I could have the kids dress up as cows and have our own "splitting of the herd". (act out the book, hands on :)) Personal I feel like this book didn't really get the idea of odd and even until the explanation page, so I probably wouldn't use it in my classroom. However, the story was sweet and it might be useful in a one on one setting where you can express the ideas at the end of the book through out the story. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
