The groundhog is not satisfied with just one day, and so declares Groundhog Appreciation Month -- and proceeds to tell all his animal friends why he deserves an entire month. This is a fun and informative book with great illustrations.

This story is about a groundhog who is trying to figure out what family he belongs in. This book also gives some interesting and fun facts about groundhogs throughout the story.

Great factual information about the groundhog, what they eat, where they live, all that good stuff. The asides are a little distracting and I feel they can be skipped. (
