The illustrations are spectacular. The story is humorous and easy to read. ( ![]() Zomo the Rabbit is a great multicultural book for children. Zomo wants wisdom, so the Sky God gives him tasks to complete before he will grant him wisdom. This book could be used in the classroom to teach sequences, and it could also be used to teach children that to get what you want you have to work for it. This is a great trickster tale, with a wonderful moral. I love the use of color and shape. In this story, Zomo the Rabbit goes tot he sky God requesting wisdom. The sky God tells him the things that Zomo needs to get for him in order receive wisdom: the scales of a fish, the milk of a cow, and the tooth of a leopard. Zomo is able to receive these things and the sky God's wisdom that he gives Zomo is that he has much courage. This story does a good job at showing that everyone has different abilities. The illustrations were beautiful and showed the culture of the author. This story is a little harder o understand for a child, but has a good message. Zomo the Rabbit is about a little bunny who is not the most physically intimidating creature but he is very smart. Zomo uses his wits to outsmart the other animals in the jungle. I would use this book for early readers because it seems like the intended audience is kindergarten or first, although all grades would probably enjoy it. I like the illustrations and word play in this book. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
