This book takes the reader throughout a town of people getting ready to start another busy day in Busytown. This would be a wonderful book for a unit on community helpers! I remember enjoying this series of books as a television show as a child. Although I enjoyed the television seriess for me personally I found this book hard to connect with and after I could not connect with the book I found it long and hard to read. http://www.krey.org is not the official site but it has a lot of information on Scarry's books such as character lists. I could not find an official websit for this author.
