Art Spiegelman contributes this quirky, delightful comic for kids. Jack learns patience as he deals with a prickly and ridiculous toy. ( )

Summary: Jack the bunny gets a new toy as a present from his family. It talks to and plays with him on his own, unlike the Jack-in-the-box we are used to!

This book was great Graphic Novel that shows the imaginative side of a child through its sequenced graphics. There are very few words, and those that are used are easy to read for a young child. You get to first hand watch a child named Jack play with his silly toy, Zack. It's all fun, and you feel like you are in on their little secret friendship because his parents don't seem to understand Zack talks to Jack! I would recommend this to a preschool and parents in general to read to their child because it lets their imagination wonder, as well as learn to love to read!

It was ok, but Z liked it for the fact that it is the first book that is 31 pages that he read in one sitting. ( )

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that a master of Spiegelman’s experience can show a variety of expressions even with simple line characters.
