Right now I'm not a vegetarian and I do love sushi. But I really hate touching raw fish, and the idea of getting this book was that I could have my cake - or sushi - and eat it. The recipes and pictures are wonderfully inspiring and when I can find all the ingredients (not easy if you don't live in a big city), I will definitely try to make some. ( )

Great cookbook but why on earth would a vegetarian sushi book list bonito flakes under suggested ingredients and call for dashi in many of the recipes? Not totally vegan but more than half of the recipes are vegan or veganizable. ( )
