Living in Australia, this book comes as no major surprise in the types of potential dangers that lurk around every corner. The wildlife which includes poisonous snakes, spiders, plenty of sharks, strange fish and other sea-borne creatures, make for a fun time in Australia. At the same time be mindful of the lack of water, extreme heat, unusual vegetation and isolation throughout most of the continent. My favorites are the crocodiles, who have the knack to spoil a short swim in the tropical north's river systems nearly every time. The book is well put together, laid out nicely and whilst you could read it right through in one go (220pages), you can take bite sizes, go away until you are ready to stomach some more. ( )
