Classically Rankin - running gags, puns all 'round, and at the end, well, brilliant. ( )

This is rankin writing down the arguments and witticisms of the voices in his head. Elvis rex a time sprout cannibals and the sister of jesus, are hilarious as the muddle through making sarcastic comments and jibes as they go. totally hilarious. ( )

Rankin continues his Armageddon series by throwing Rex back in time to just before the NHE (Nuclear Holocaust Event) of December 31, 1999. He meets up with Elvis and together they try to stop Wormwood, the ultimate evil, from bringing about the end of the world. Full of humorous banter, running jokes about the chaingun Blaine had in Predator, etc etc, this is a perfect follow-up to Armageddon: The Musical. I can't wait to get my hands on the third book. ( )
