There is a wide variety of styles of poetry. Every child will be able to find a poem they like from this book. I loved this collection! There are several poems on a page, and the pictures are fantastic!! There is something for everyone. I especially liked “Noisome Naomi”, “Tom Tigercat”, and “When You Get Old.” This book is packed with so much color and sarcasm, everyone will enjoy it! I would read several selections of poetry from this book to my children and then have them write and illustrate their own funny poem. We could then make a book for our classroom library. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

I picked this poem book out of an elementary school library just because of its cover. It has bright colors and a cute picture. It is the same way inside the book. Each poem has cute pictures bringing the poems to life. I loved this about it.It makes it fun and entertaining to read!
In the classroom, I would have each of the students pick a poem from the book. Then they would draw their own picture to go with it since for me that is one thing I loved so much about this poem book.
