It took me a little bit to get into this book but I ended up really liking it. It's not what I would usual go for and I'm glad that I gave it a try. The first chapters were kind of slow to me but once it picked up I couldn't put the book down. ( )

I loved this book but I was also majorly creeped out by it. The idea of being manipulated by a writer of the story..ugh. But it was very well written and very imaginative. There was a creepy fairytale mood which persisted through the tale and the main character, Poison was interesting and I grew to really admire her. Great read. ( )

I wish i could give this book more than 5 stars, it was an amazing book, it made you look at life a differnt way. And it was a great adventrue to read! ( )

So not my cup of tea. The writing was not bad but it was written for an age group of I'd say 8-12. The writing is more along the lines of a classic fairy tale and not really a great one. The books was really very predictable. ( )

this book is about a girl named poison. Poisons sister gets stolen by fairies, so she goes to the fairy world to try to find her. The fairy king tries to kill her many times but she and her friends escape and the spider queen ends up killing him, but not before scriddle a loyal elf to the king kills the Hetirophant. He killed him because he is part human and the Heitrophant has to have human blood , but poison is ableto stop him by telling the other lords who then make her the Heitrophant who decides what happens sortof like a god.
I liked this book because it was exiting, and unexpected. The ending left it so that it could be made into a series though but I don't think that it is. It was very creative and I really liked it. Although it isn't the type of book you want to read over and over again.
