Joseph Bruchac grew up in a family that had to hide its Native American culture because it considered too dangerous to be known an Indian. So, his heritage was celebrated only among his family and others just like him. He discovered creative writing while in school, along with being a wrestler. He became a professor at Cornell Univerisity and later traveled to Ghana to teach. He reads everything. He also keeps journals of his ideas, conversations, and even poems. He is openly proud of his Mohegan heritage. Listen to heart is his final advice to young readers. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
