Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong and more than two million dollars in cash near the Rio Grande. (IMDb)

Absolutely worth reading, and if you think that the movie was probably better you need to think again.

McCarthy continues to impress, with compelling dialogue, chilling imagery and great characters. Whereas the movie focuses on Anton Chigurh's character, through Llewelyn Moss, and especially Sheriff Ed Tom Bell, this tale becomes bigger than a criminal and his crimes, and turns into a condemnation of the descent of the glory of America, a place that can only embitter and disappoint those of older days.

A man comes across two million dollars in the desert, and is hunted down by a mysterious crazy person.

An interesting and suspenseful pseudo-Western. Great characters. It feels a lot longer than two hours - I don't know why, there's certainly not anything that I think should be cut - it's just the sort of thing that's meant to be slow. Music probably could have helped; there's very little score, and the few places it is used I didn't even notice it. ( )
