A book with bite and "a gem of a heroine"-- third in the series from the author of Dead Sexy. It's been one heck of a week for Garnet Lacey. The Vatican witch hunters finally think she's dead, the FBI has closed their file on her, she's co-founding a new coven--and the gorgeous vampire she loves has just asked her to marry him. How lucky can one girl get? Then, her fiancé goes missing and Garnet's worried sick. Has he been kidnapped? Or could he have run off with that blonde from the coven? Now Garnet will have to seek the help of her future stepson--the same brat who turned her over to the witch hunters for a brand-new Jaguar. But there's more bad news: the Goddess Lilith, who camps out in her body, has been making embarrassing appearances. And on top of that, some killer's on her tail...… (mere)

I admit it. I mainly picked up these books because [author:Tate Hallaway] is the alter ego of [author:Lyda Morehouse], whom I fangrrl wildly. And I'm glad, because they're fun.

William/Parrish 4-ever! ;) ( )

What a lame book.....I say just kill Garnet off or make her a stand-up woman who lives up to the full potential of her gifts & talents. Make her "Walk the Talk" or end the series.....she's a loser. The series is deteriorating.

This is it....really... How can someone carrying the Goddess Lilith inside them, who survived the murder of their entire coven and the victor of more than one murderous group of assassins, who happens also to be a very knowledgeable & capable practitioner of the "craft" be so FARKING STOOPID? HUH? Tell me?

Garnet has not a F-ing clue what is going on around her...within her own bookstore, not even within the people who are coming to her to form a coven....

Stoopid people can not be heroes...because dumb luck & "oh Duh! absolutely DO Not qualify as courage...nor does bumbling into the right answers. ( )

Really enjoyed this one. Garnett is settling down in her life and is thinking of buying out the owner of the magic shop that she works in. Sebastian has just proposed to her. They are even starting a new coven in their town. All seems to be going well but then Sebastian disappears, a big dog seems to be dogging Garnett and Matayas mysteriousely comes back to town. ( )

Her usual fun book. Although, I did find the plot lagging a bit compared to the previous two. It may be an in-between book though so I must wait for the next one to be for sure. It does contain valuable information to support the main plot so as most series' do usually suffer, there must be this type of slower paced book. Still good fun and will definetly look forward to the next installment. ( )

Not as good as the first two in this series. These are more a chick-lit genre than romance or erotica.

Garnet's life is going well. She's considering buying the magic bookstore she runs, she's come to terms with the Goddess Lilith she carries inside her, and her vampire lover, Sebastian, just proposed to her! Life is great...until Sebastian disappears, someone is trying to kill Garnet, and a big ole' dog keeps 'dogging' her steps! What's going on?

As I mentioned, not as good as the first two. Garnet has several not-too-bright moments in this one...but the storyline does advance. ( )
