This is an excellent book for picky eaters and children who struggle with rigidity or hyper-focused interests. This book is better for slightly older young children that have the ability to think somewhat abstractly or understand silliness. Chocolatina is the story of a young school girl who only eats chocolate. After wishing she was chocolate, she wakes to find that her wish came true. Her school day is a struggle and she learns a valuable lesson about being open to trying new things. Ages: 5-8 Source: Personal Collection The book was good for younger audiences. It was read in the kindergarten classroom I'm volunteering in. The kids seemed to really like the book and the slight plot twist. I would use this in a classroom as an entertaining RA. Tina has to learn how to control her chocolate addiction after being turned into a chocolate girl for the day. We like this story because it's silly. A girl turns into a chocolate girl, just like the chocolate bunnies that she likes so much. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
