(  ) lisaladdvt | Jul 24, 2019 |  I enjoyed this book for its simplicity. It had a quaint plot-line with a lovable main character: a small frog who dreams of seeing the ocean. This story followed the little frog as he made his way from his small pond home to the big vast ocean and back again. I liked that this book inspires a sense of wanderlust and adventure but also emphasizes the comforts and benefits of staying home. The illustrations were beautifully done and had a very simple ascetic. I felt that the language was age appropriate and the writing satisfactory.
