Throughout the book the narrator talks to babymouse and makes comments and she responds. The book was pretty funny with the crazy things that happen like the animals that disappeared are actually all under her bed having a party!! The comic illustrations are fun! ( )

"Babymouse: Puppy Love" is one book in the series about the heroine mouse that now wants a pet. She has not had the most success in keeping pets in the past, but she gives it a shot and adopts a puppy. She learns quickly that puppies are no easy task and there's more to it than she thought! This is a fun graphic novel for beginning readers. ( )

This is a comic book style reading. Baby mouse was wanting a different pet other than the fish he has always had who never lasted long. She wanted a puppy and her family also teaches little mouse how to take responsibility of a pet. This is a great book for children who like comic type books.

The right kid will LOVE this series. I am not a huge fan. It's hard for me to stay connected with the story.
