This is the script of a musical about Jimmy Swaggart, and his cousin, Jerry Lee Lewis. To point up the relationship, Ledoux and Young made them the Blackwell brothers. One (Cale) is JLL the musical one, and Herscel is the one so hungry for an audience, he becomes a revivalist preacher. They both make a good living letting it all hang out. They got troubles with their judgemental father, bad mangers ripping them off, and a goodly number of groupies. I like the play, it says a good deal about the music business and popular religion. ( )
