Book talk:
Top 10 Reasons You Probably Shouldn't Read This Book:
10. The title and cover lead you to believe this is a just a basketball story. Trust me; it isn't.
9. This book might make you think.
8. This is book one in a trilogy, so then you'll probably be stuck wanting to read the sequels.
7. There's immature scenes like water balloon fights, farting, and.
6. There are serious topics such as racism, hate crimes, and revenge.
5. There is a violent scene when Andre is attacked.
4. Sometimes the language is PG, and reading bad language will make you use bad language.
3. The main character, Andre, is hard-working teenager who is doing well in school and wants to be a writer. Who wants to read about that?
2. You might not be able to put it down and then you won't get anything else done.
1. Your friends will make fun of you because you are actually reading a book. ( )
