Summary: This book has a lot of fun poems for kids. One poem called "This Tooth" is about a kid with a loose tooth who keeps playing with it.

Reflection: This was really cute for kids to relate to. Everyone understands the excitement of a wiggly tooth.

Classroom Extension:
1. Have a tooth fairy assignment
2. Poetry day in class.

Summary:
The whole book is compiled of funny little poems for children. Each has good pictures to go along with the poems. The poems are not really related, except that they are funny and cute. Although the book contains mostly poems, it also includes riddle and short stories.

Personal Reactions:
This is a great way to introduce children to poetry. These compiled works are amusing and clever. The addition of riddles and short stories are great to add to the diversity of the book.

Classroom Extensions:
Use this book to show children that poetry can be fun. Also that there are different kinds of poems. Children can write their own funny poems.

Summary:
This book is a collection of easy to read poems for easy readers. There was one about a pig working in a pizza parlor and got fired for eating the pizza. Then the wolf takes his job.

Personal Reaction:
I really enjoyed this book and the idea of it being for easy readers.

Classroom Extension:
1. Have the children pick their favorite and talk about it.

2. Have them write their own poems.
