In the 1870's Australia was dominated by Europeans. A small number of people could got rich and others stayed poor. A man appeared and he learnt how to live outside the low. He used the gun and killed people. I felt this was like movies I have ever seen. This thrilled me very much. ( ) This story is true story about Kelly in Australia. He became only man in him family. he fave a many brothers and sisiters. His life is always poor.He was doubt that he stole the house when he was fifitteen. So he was arrested for three years. When he came back his house after three years, the family have been changed. After I finished to read this book, I was very shocked because this story is true. When he was a boy, he was poor and hungry. When he was a young man, he was still poor and still hungry. He learnt how to steal horses, he learnt how to fight, he learnt how to live - outside the law. Australia in the 1870s was a hard, wild place. Rich people had land, poor people didn't. So the rich got richer, and the poor stayed poor. Some say Ned Kelly was a bad man. Some say he was a good man but the law was bad. This is the true story of Australia's most famous outlaw. No library descriptions found. |
