An incredible sprint through the tragic life of one of the greatest composers this world has ever seen. Professor Greenberg is engaging and witty and expertly cuts in clips of Mahler's work to reinforce the historical and analytical breakdowns of key pieces. I learned a lot in this lecture series and really look forward to listening to more Great Courses and specifically, Great Masters courses. ( )
