Barry Rivers is a man on a mission, very focused and determined. Barry owns his own company and works with the government. At one time, he worked for the government. Barry goes to New Orleans to help his father with the trucking company his father owns and operates. But someone has harmed his dad and is trying to shut down his business. Barry sets out to find out the truth of who is pulling strings and why. It may take all Barry’s special forces training to take down the nefarious people who want to use the Rivers trucking company for some nasty business dealings.
While doing so, Barry meets a special lady. TNT is her CB handle. She is small but fully capable of standing up to any man who thinks he can walk all over her, and she’ll stand by Barry come what may. The truckers are men and women who want to make a good wage and work hard to do so. Most of them are vets too so they can handle what trouble seems to be heading the Rivers trucking company way. But who can Barry trust with what he is uncovering?
I enjoyed this story a lot. There were times I found myself laughing out loud at the actions or snarky comments made by characters in the book. I sat down one day and read it until I finished. I hope you do the same. This is a tale with the bark on. There is some cursing in the book but if you look past that it is a very patriotic book, a tale that speaks of everyday people standing up to evil.
Readers will find themselves cheering one minute and exhaling in relief the next. There is so much action in the plot you’ll never want to quit reading. Be ready for a twist that really captures the imagination. I hope you enjoy the first book in the Rig Warrior series and then read book two titled, Wheels of Death!
