Great read. Wonderful profiles. The title is so right; some great profiles of people I never heard of but should have known in detail. Very inspirational. ( )

Regardless on one's political views, this is a fine book. It presents various character traits and exemplifies them through the lives of the famous and not so famous. A great gift book for anyone and an excellent choice for character and values education. It stays on point and isn't in the least bit political. I believe it will be one of Senator MCain's greatest legacies. ( )

This book took forever for me to finish, but it was very inspiring and I learned a lot about some historical figures of which I've been curious about for some time now. Overall, I recommend this book. ( )
