This book got good reviews on amazon, but I didn't really find it useful. There are a lot of websites out there with as good of lists of baby names as this book. Save your money. ( )

In the fifteen years since we began writing about names, the world of baby naming has mushroomed from a sleepy little enterprise, with parents naming their children Jennifer and Jason and wondering whether there might be anything more exciting out there, to an adventurous and intelligent and style-concious activity in which parents investigate their ancestors' native lands to atlases and even dictionaries for names that are ever more inventive, individual, and enlightened.
