Summary:
This book is a collection of poems that answers questions about thing that happen in nature.It provides some scientific evidence to explain each occurrence. The book answers questions of popping popcorn, snakes shedding their skin, the "Man in the Moon", and how seeds grow. A picture provides a visual for each poem in the book.
Reaction:
I enjoyed reading this book, just as much as I enjoyed looking at the pictures. The pictures had bright colors that drew me in as a reader. The poems themselves are in stanza form and are very fun to read. The book used simple scientific evidence to back up each topic.

1.This book can be used to explain why popcorn pops, or why cats purr to a
young student.
2.This book can be used during a science lesson for various topics.
3.This book can be used in an English class as an example for poems in
stanza form.
