None of the other "Little House Years" books are as good as the ones about Laura but other then the Laura books the Martha ones are definitely my favorite. I love Scotland so that made this books particularly interesting to me but in general I just think they are the best written and most engaging titles from this set of books. ( ) This is a story about Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Great Grandmother, Martha Morse, as a little girl in Scotland. It tells a lot about what life was like in Scotland in the late seventeen hundreds for a girl whose father owned a lot of land with tenants, and also includes a lot of literature from the period in the form of stories and songs throughout the book. This book focuses on Martha’s interest in her cousins’ house on the far side of the loch. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
