Descriptions of the strange habits of some of the world's more unusual reptiles, including the tuatara, hognose snake, horned toad, basilisk, and the Komodo Dragon. This book is all about reptiles. It would be great for a science class who is learning about reptiles. It is very long and has a lot of words in it. It would not be the best for young children because they may not be able to pay attention. They also might not be able to understand all of the information in the book. Summary: An informational book about reptiles and their habits. The information in the book from how reptiles descended from dinosaurs to how snakes eat lunch are very detailed and informative. The drawings are colorful and detailed and offer reptiles in many poses and doing many things. Review: I found this book much more "friendly" because of the drawings as opposed to photographs of the reptiles. As a girl who could barely pick up books with photographs I could not stomach, this seems a slightly gentler approach to the subject of the reptile world. Tons of information and much more than I ever wanted to know! My kids at school love this book. Especially the boys. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
