1. This book covers the beauty and mysteries life in the oceans and seas. It also covers how oceans create weather by cooling and warming the air over them, forming wind and clouds. Ocean currents carry cold and warm weather around the planet. The food chain in illustrated - planets are eaten by herbivores, and herbivores are eaten by carnivores. The book ends with how the world uses oceans and seas as garbage cans, and has a few projects in the back.

3. I would use this book to do projects on rainy or very cold days. This book would also be very interesting to a student I met who wanted to be an oceanographer. ( )
