This is an out-of-print book that I came across used, and being a history buff, picked it up.
This is hard to rate. I‘ll go with three stars, because it was published in 1975 and I‘m certain new info has come out since. It‘s a pick for readability and bringing awareness to the importance of women in history which was beginning to develop at the time of publication.
I was surprised to see on the back flap that it‘s geared towards younger readers (12 and up), because attitudes towards sex during the era is discussed. But hey it was the 1970s when it was written. ( )
