The Encyclopedia expands upon that earlier work with character biographies and with far more details than Chronology could provide. The First Edition is lovingly crafted in paperback form with B&W photos, high quality B&W graphics, and bright white paper. Unlike the infamous Second Edition, the starship class diagrams in this First Edition were neither scaled wrong nor were any flipped upside down.
