So obviously I only skimmed this guide for making four Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals using only some balls of yarn, a pile of stuffing, and a few needles and hooks. But my hero of a wife read every single line -- and I know because she checked them off in a variety of colorful inks -- and made all four of the Pooh friends for our daughter many years ago. She even adapted the instructions a bit to add some velcro so Eeyore's tail was detachable for those times when one needs it to go missing. Yep, she's amazing!
Here are the dolls with our older dog, Simon:

As an aside, I found it interesting that even in crochet there is different terminology in the United States from the international standard. Our slip stitch is an international single crochet, and of course our single crochet is an international double crochet. It's just like the ground floor/first floor confusion I've heard about in regard to buildings in Europe vs. the USA. Goofy.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
