I first encountered this fine little book in college in a class taught by Stephen Covey about 40 years ago. It was originally published in 1962, but it's message is more needed than ever. The fruits of undisciplined living are the problems of our times. I recommend this book very highly. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
In this modern classic, the author speals to the urgent need for discipline in today's culture. Without mincing words, Richard Taylor deals with the areas of living that hamper Christians from reaching their full potential- overeacting, moodiness, erratic emotuons, tardiness, lack of submission, weak priorities, and more. He then lays out a clear plan for how to become a disciplined person, starting with developing a personal philosophy of discipleship. Author Richard Foster calls The Disciplined Life "A sharp, staccato plea for disciplined living in an age of self-indulgence." No library descriptions found. |
