A take on the great reformer that spends a good deal of time discussing the state of the man's digestive tract rather than the issues that seem to me to be of more importance. It was quite a big play at the time, but I hope Time has not treated it well. ( ) The award winning play, Luther, by John Osborne, is based on the life of Martin Luther from 1506 to 1530. It premiered in Paris in 1961 and opened in New York in 1963 and later toured from coast to coast starring Alan Bergmann as Luther. Dr, Johnson used it as a resource when writing his one man play on Luther. It can be found on the library shelves under the number 822.914 OSB. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
