Beautifully wise book, with a mindful, heartfelt approach to the lovely imperfections of our humanity. I recommend this as a must-read for spiritual seekers. xo ( )

Formatting matters -- which is why I almost returned this text to the library. But I waded into the first chapter and now own a copy of the book.

The concept -- "The Spirituality of Imperfection" -- rings true for me. Who needs spirituality if they're perfect or one day might be? The focus on story and its power to create community and foster healing also resonates. The stories come from various wisdom traditions and the community that understands their power is Alcoholics Anonymous -- and it all works.

I'm ready to read it (and underline) again. ( )

It's difficult to describe the impact this book has had on my life, but for anyone struggling with developing a sense of spirituality that isn't dependent upon organized religion, this book is key. ( )
