On February 2nd, the United States turn on their televisions and switch to the new channel streaming the groundhog-day report. Groundhog's Day is a historic holiday created to predict the oncoming of spring, this book explains it's historic traditions and how they've developed into what we now know as groundhog's day. I love how this book is an informational book but also has amazing illustrations. Often times, kids can get bored or overwhelmed with information if it is just a bunch of words and facts on a page, but I like how this book does a good job at illustrating the words in the pictures above. At the end, I like the section of "Groundhog Facts" just to help kids remember some important facts about them. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
