A slog but I loved so much of it. Although she is kind of entitled and overly esoteric and a touch haughty, we should all be so lucky to look at the world and interact with it in the way she did.

If I could have only one literary work on a desert island, it would be Proust's "Remembrance of Things Past". But if I could two such works, the second would be Anais Nin's unexpurgated, unedited diary. (
