A good Christian book that is very current in the events that are happening in America now. America is fighting against Christianity, unfortunately but God is in control! Pretty good characters that are developed well. Likeable characters that face their own demons like we all do. ( )

Two adult childhood friends find themselves opposing each other in this stand-alone Christian Fiction written by New York Times Bestselling author Karen Kingsbury.

Christians will find this thinly veiled allegory (with characters such as "Bob Moses" and "Joshua Nunn" set in Bethany, Pennsylvania at the center of which is a controversy over "Jericho Park") entertaining if not a bit too obvious, but the book could have real impact if read by non-believers with questions about what makes the born-again Christian tick. I enjoyed it and will be recommending it to my sister. ( )
