I think the authors offer useful insight into management in fast changing industries. Essentially their advice is to avoid extremes which straitjacket organizations and impede them from responding to significant change. They offer 10 rules covering Strategy, Organization and Leadership that concisely summarize the entire book. If anything the book shows how complex managing change actually is, and how much discipline matters if one is to be successful at it. ( )
