I received an ARC of this book to read through NetGalley. All opinions are my own. The "I Love My Airfryer" Affordable Meals Recipe Book by Aileen Clark was a revelation to me. Like many, while stuck at home during the pandemic, I purchased an Air Fryer. The thing was, other than using it for re-heating french fries and frozen mozzarella sticks, I didn't really use it. I was beginning to think that it would be better just to pass it on to someone else because I wasn't using it at all. I found this book at the perfect time. The teen was off to college, cooking for one was frustrating, and I'd begun to depend on delivery too much. The recipes in the book have everything from snacks to full meals and desserts. Many of the recipes are easily adapted for smaller quantities, the ingredients are easily obtainable, affordable and I can make many of them more quickly and with less clean up than I would by traditional methods. The Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins, Chicken Taquitos, Maple Salmon, Smashed Red Potatoes, Maple Bacon Brussel sprouts, and Root Vegetable recipes are ones that I will make over and over. The recipes are well written and easy to follow. My only gripe would be that I wish there were pictures of all the recipes.
