I appreciate as a parent how the book includes some big words, allot of books in this style shy away from larger words or even worse purposefully include misspellings. I thought it was great how it lauded learning and showed how learning does not have to be boring. The only thing I would say for parents is Narwhale and Jelly lead the class on a fact finding scavenger hunt. One team interviews seahorses and the fact that male seahorses are the pregnant ones is presented. It is of course true and my kids already know this so I am not concerned but I see this could be confusing for some kids so some parents might want to talk about it with them. I was givin a copy if this book in return for a review, my opinions are always are my own. They teach wafflematics (waffles plus mathematics), comics and have a science scavenger hunt. This was as funny as the other Narwhal and Jelly books and taught me wafflematics.
