"A truly lovely book, gentle and humorous, about a couple having to deal with the hard stuff life can throw at you and finding a way through." -Reedsy Discovery In Broken Pieces of God David B. I enjoyed Broken Pieces of God. The story was artfully narrated with the characters developing and their relationships with each other developing throughout. Twists turns and surprises were naturally revealed. Great read.

How the belief of one man can change the direction of/have an influence on everyone he encounters. Does his belief really change bad to good? Is he rewarded or punished because he demanded instead of asked for help? Shows there are two sides to everything and everyone. Some hidden better than others. Some more tragic than others. But all have an effect on everyone is some way. ( )

In his novel, Broken Pieces of God, David Seaburn paints characters with exquisite pain and emotional depth. He taps into the spirit of our time. The brokenness his characters experience is shared by a statue of Christ the Consoler, that is a chipped and flawed image of the Christ who became one of us and experienced the same broken world. The story is a wonderful exploration of the crushing burden of holding onto hope in the midst of hopelessness.
