So I didn't realize when I started this book, that this is basically the end of Morgan's story. As I understand it, the last book follows her daughter. It will be interesting to see how everything turns out though. This book was pretty good. Switched POV between Morgan and Hunter. I like Hunter but I prefer Morgan's POV. ( )

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The writing was quite nice and I really liked the story line. I was glad to see how it all ended with Morgan and Hunter. They really do belong together. ( )

I hadn't realised that this was the last title particularly featuring the young Morgan and Hunter, but it was immediately obvious that this book had a different feel to it. Even the shared voice didn't really irritate me. Despite the usual high drama, there was a much stronger element of hope and achievement throughout, in keeping with the Beltane theme. It made a very welcome change to see and explore the lighter and more beautiful side of this magickal world. It would be lovely to have more opportunity to enjoy a happy side to the Wiccan saga. ( )

In this book Morgan is being haunted by nightmares that are so real she finds she is walking in her sleep and she soon discovers that dreams can hurt you. Hunter is trying to help Morgan and he has been enlisted by a local coven to investigate possible dark magic by one of thier own.

What can I say. This series is just so much fun. This is the next to the last book in the series and I will hate to see it over. It is great for teens but maybe not tweens since some of the characters are sexually active, (no actual sex). There are a lot of lessons to learn as well as lots of fun. There are many times when the reader can stop and think, What would I do? I am over fifty and found myself doing that. ( )

The next book in the Wicca/Sweep series that deals with Morgan, Hunter and their friends. It succeeds in tying up a lot of loose ends and now hopefully Hunter and Morgan can go on to lead more normal lives. Morgan has been having bad dreams brought on by Selene, who was not in fact destroyed in an earlier book as suspected. Morgan is able to prevail at the end and go to a witch school in the summer.

Hunter stops a witch from performing dark magic after quitting the council and going about it his own way. Perhaps he will start a new order that fellow witches will trust more. I think there is one final book set a little in the future about the child they have which I am looking forward to. ( )
