What could be more lovely than a destination wedding at a castle in Tuscany? And, how romantic to get away, be the Maid of Honor for your best friend and perhaps find a bit of sizzle while making sure the bride is happy and everything goes well? It would be perfect if the perfect guy had not also shown up…the one with the sizzle…and he had not been the bride’s brother!
What I liked:
* Faye: divorced, good friend, in a dry spell relationship-wise, ready to get back into the dating scene, meets a god-like fantasy man, enticed and enticing. Able to do what is best for herself and does so.
* Rafael: older, big brother, wealthy, closed off from falling in love, intrigued by Faye, leery, has potential, may wise up in time…maybe.
* The location – Tuscany and a castle sounds lovely.
* The way Faye and Rafael met – definitely an interesting meet-cute.
* The family dynamics
* Pre-wedding activities
* The string bikini scene and a few others that sizzled
* The way Faye protects herself.
* Faye’s ability to help others and bring the best out in them.
* That it was somewhat predictable but an easy feel-good story and quick escape.
* The HEA ending.
What I didn’t like:
* Can’t really think of anything.
